Bakgrund: Dagens näringsliv präglas av hög förändringstakt och krav på att företagen snabbt kan anpassa sig till kundens och omvärldens behov. Det bildas nya grupperingar som samarbetar och konkurrerar på samma gång och företag inser de fördelar ett samarbete med både horisontella och vertikala aktörer ger. Syfte: Det här uppsatsarbetet syftar till att utreda begreppet co-opetition samt att visa på dess tillämpning i praktiken genom att undersöka var i företagens värdekedja man väljer att samarbeta alternativt konkurrera. Avgränsningar: Undersökningen syftar inte till att utreda och behandla de juridiska aspekterna av fenomenet co-opetition. Genomförande: För att få en bild över hur co-opetition ter sig i verkligheten har vi genomfört intervjuer på fyra olika företag inom olika två branscher; affärssystemleverantörer samt pappersproducenter.

This thesis revolves around co-opetition and boundary spanning activities with IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) as research case. The main objective is to through qualitative interviews and a passive observation of email conversations explore how the participants of IETF experience and is affected by a double membership where they sometimes are cooperating with their competitors. Theories states that boundary spanning activities can create role conflicts for these participants when different role-senders, IETF and the employer, send incompatible expectations. We also believe that this can have a negative impact on discussions and the standard development process, which is why we are conducting the passive observations mentioned above.The result shows that the environment of co-opetition is a contributing factor to role-conflicts. These conflicts appear when participants are forced to choose between the role as an employee and the role as an IETF participant.

Det går emellertid att finna företag som både konkurrerar och samarbetar med samma företag, något som brukar benämnas som en co-opetitiv relation. En sådan relation går att återfinna inom den svenska försvarsindustrins offsetrelationer. Syfte: Syftet med denna magisteruppsats är att beskriva och förklara hur samarbete och konkurrens förenas i en och samma relation, nämligen en offsetrelation, samt utreda vilka aspekter som är av vikt för att det co- opetitiva förhållandet i nämnda relation skall vara fördelaktigt för alla inblandade parter.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the importance of networking and relationships in the music industry. We also want to see whether these factors have any impact on the Swedish music exports.These musings have led to the formulation of the following question; -          How can the musiclabels in the music industry make use of networks and relationships to strengthen the Swedish music exports to the U.S. and make it more efficient? The essay is written with a qualitative method with an abductive perspective. That?s because our research question has demanded that we get a deeper view of the subject to be able to answer it.The empirical data is collected through telephone or email interviews.

Allt fler företag är medlemmar i ett eller flera nätverk. Vilket värde skapas för företagen genom medlemskap i ett nätverk? Hur skapas detta värdet och vad är det för värde egentligen? Finns det några faktorer som påverkar värdeskapandet?.

Banksektorn är en av flera tjänstesektorer vars företag är uppdelade i olika enheter där de sköter sin enhet själv samtidigt som de delar på gemensamma resurser. Trots det, är de relativt oberoende av varandra, dock är samarbetet däremellan oundvikligt. Samarbete och konkurrens är möjlig att kombineras i ett och samma förhållande, det så kallade begreppet co-opetition. Ett samtidigt samarbete och konkurrens kan ge upphov till negativa effekter inom företag, så som intern oenighet mellan enheter. Ifall de olika egenintressena är i konflikt med varandra kan det leda till att enheter tävlar mot varandra istället för med varandra, vilket påverkar balansen däremellan.

Nyckelord används på ett flertal sätt för att nå högre rankning i sökmotorresultaten på webben och många författare inom ämnet beskriver hur viktigt det är att använda rätt nyckelord när man sökop-timerar sin webbplats. I litteraturen om sökmotoroptimering beskrivs och kategoriseras nyckelord på ett flertal sätt. Teori-delen i denna uppsats är tänkt att vara en samlingsplats för information om nyckelord. Detta för att skapa en samlad helhetsbild av nyckelordsprocessen och beskriva de olika kategorierna av nyckelord så att detta finns dokumenterat på ett och samma ställe. I den andra delen av uppsatsen beskrivs en empirisk studie som gjorts för att få reda på om andra manuella metoder än den traditionella brainstormingen kan användas för att ta fram passande nyck-elord till en webbsida. De testade metoderna är slumpordsassociation, negativ idégenerering och 6-3-5. Även brainstorming testades för att jämföras med de andra tre metoderna.

AbstractThis essay is an investigation where I try to gain an increased knowledge of the three assistants? (in the mentally disability profession) opinion about their education and their first years in their profession. I have also tried to answer the questions whether the course mentally disability/functional gives the students a good start in their profession, if there are any flaws or if something is missing in the course or if they can think of any improvements to make the course better.This investigation is performed as a qualitative interview study where three women were interviewed about their education and their first years as assistants? (in the mentally disability profession). All the interviewed women have been working in the care activity for two or three years since they graduated.

Detta är en studie om coopetition inom destinationsnätverk, det vill säga när aktörer på en turistdestination ingår i ett nätverk där samarbete och konkurrens sker samtidigt. Studien är gjord på Visit Gellivare Lapland (VGL), ett destinationsnätverk i Gällivare i norra Lappland som består av ett destinationsbolag, turistbyrån samt ca 55 stycken medlemmar som verkar inom besöksnäringen. Coopetition är en sammansättning av engelskans cooperation och competition och är ett fenomen som uppkommit i och med att konkurrerande organisationer går samman för att nå konkurrensfördelar. Det teoretiska syftet med denna studie är utveckla en förståelse för hur kommunikation och motivation hindrar respektive möjliggör coopetition inom ett destinationsnätverk och det praktiska syftet är att utveckla Visit Gellivare Lapland som destinationsnätverk genom att ge destinationsbolaget och dess medlemmar en förståelse för hur kommunikation och motivation påverkar samarbetet inom nätverket. I och med att vi i studien vill nå en förståelse för begreppet coopetition inom destinationsnätverk har vi antagit en hermeneutisk kunskapssyn och eftersom syftet är att se hur de på förhand bestämda faktorerna kommunikation och motivation påverkar coopetition så antar studien ett deduktivt angreppssätt.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay was to examine children?s comprehension of the internal organs of the human body and to see how this understanding varies between ages. Thirteen children in the ages between three to five have been asked questions, through qualitative interviews, about their thoughts regarding the human body.The understanding varies depending on the children?s age. A five year old have a better knowledge than a three year old.

The main reason for the study was to find out how much naturscience is used in the daily situation in the preschool/school environment with the younger kids. I have studied the teacher`s educations background, if this had any role in the teaching of naturscience. To get my answers I interviewed ten teachers with different teaching background.The result showed that science was present both in the preschool and school for the early years. Everything from teamwork to outdoor play and small experiments. The Art Library uses the newspaper cuttings archive to provide her customers with newspaperarticles about art. This archive has the following problems; there is little space left inthe paternoster lifts, the articles can only be found on keyword and to maintain the archive,much labour is required.This research aims to find out how the Art Library can provide her customers with newspaperarticles which will cost as little as possible.Six possible solutions are given. Out of these the solution with "Artikel-sok" was recommended.According to this solution the Art Library should no longer maintain the archive, butuse "Artikel-sok", a database from Bibliotekstjänst which contains descriptions of articlesfrom many Swedish newspapers and magazines. These articles can be ordered from Bibliotekstjänst.The old newspaper cuttings archive will be used for articles from before 1979,because these are not being taken up in the "Artikel-sok"..
